CV1. Safety: CV12↓. Sometimes what is viewed as a place of safety may be hostile, friendly but can change in a moment, or worse of all unknown if it safe or not.
CV2. Humor: ☺ Global Pandemic That Has Killed Thousands Giving Woman Just the Push She Needed to Organize Tupperware Cabinet. TheOnion.com Has Been Designated as a Pandemic Shelter in the Event That Covid-19 Could Spread Through the Internet, ☺. ☺’s are to decrease the chance of Poe’s Law CV12, CV16↓. Marking items with ☺’s I was reminded that humor can be valid and true in ways that makes them difficult to decide if something is humor or thinly disguised painful fact and opinions made palatable. There is another problem that some will dismiss humor as unimportant, when humor could be a crucial bit of information of the perception and interpretations of people in a bio or other crisis/ disaster.
CV3. Misinformation: CV12↓. Whether true or not if believed to be true people will act accordingly.
CV4. Politics: CV12↓. Different interpretations of the same event and information can lead to conflict.
CV5. Economics: CV12↓. Chosing between cutting off income streams and this of infectious disease.
CV6. Language: Used chokepoint CV12↓ recently, forgetting that people will not necessarily understand the term. I first learned it living in LA where people knew about traffic jams caused by accidents or chokepoints of construction, rush hour on ramps and converging freeways. In Parademic a chokepoint is a narrow and usual single place on a road or to a building where access and egress can be stopped, limited, or controlled. Associated with hospitals trying to prevent contamination, or area self isolation for same purpose but usually not to benefit the larger society.
CV7. Emergence: CV12↓. When authorities don’t do something that people think is important to be done they will do it on their own.
CV8. Fiction: CV12↓. Elm Street.
CV9. Arts: Amid Pandemic, Artists Invoke Japanese Spirit Said to Protect Against Disease =2= =3= =4= =5=. [Art , Cartoon]. Blurs with magic CV17↓, protective charm and sign CV12↓, and overlaps with social media.
CV10. Religion: CV12↓. It is not uncommon for religious groups to view those of other faiths as contaminated and outsiders. In some cases this intolerance is lead by the leadership of the religious body.
CV11. Exploitation: CV12↓. Is this an opportunity to drive down property prices to buy these cheap. Russia Closes Borders until May, following steep rise in officially recorded cases, which given previous patterns of disinformation are probably less that the real number, 200326-CV11.
CV12. Personal: Located the photo referred to yesterday 200327-CV12B of the sign. It is not available by link but it turns out it was not of a sign at the end of a bridge but taped to road signs leading to town. Unsure if this was due to my increasing deafness, where I inserted prior knowledge about chokepoints CV7↑ and bridge for missed words, but that is not the parademic issue. The personal is wholisitic but not monolithic. Each individual has a personal interpretation about the world in general and CV in particular. These interpretations differ between individuals even if they directly observe the same incident, hear the same information, read the same law. This is referred to as mis communication/ interpretation/ understanding, and having different meanings for words. These differences can lead to conflicts and disaster within a household or among neighbors CV8↑. The personal weaves through each level of government (local, state, region, nation), increasing the chances of mis communication/ interpretation/ understanding, and unrecognized different definitions CV20↓. As the personal and political mix the risk of probability and degree of harm increase CV21↓. There may be a number of alternative hypothesis to explain about the Go Home signs, i.e. all the other CVs↓↑. Have I mentioned that parademic is wholism, that everything is connected to everything else, just like the internal and external biosphere. To avoid creating a mass of arrows have not put all the connections possible between the CV#s.
CV13. Outliers: CV12↑, a fringe group that hates tourists, or tourists that thought it would be funny to put the Anti Tourists signs up CV2↑.
CV14. Miscellaneous: CV12↑, random event that may not actually be fit an a priori category because the cause of the behavior remains unknown, of behavior of Go Away signs may be the effect of an unknown cause.
CV15. Grief: CV12↑, the first stage of grief is blame and anger, that outsiders brought in CV, that outsiders destroyed the forests which destroyed the coast, marine life, watersheds, ranches/ farms, and indigenous cultures.
CV16. Unintended Consequences: CV12↑, a joke that went wrong CV2↑.
CV17. Uncertainty/ Contradictions: CV12↑. With the local economy if jeapordy, and worry that there may eventually be shortages, threatening signs may have been a way
CV18. Evolving Social Constructs, Narrative (formerly in CV20↓): Adaptation as people learn, shift paradigms, make sense of situations, SLAI. Are the signs of CV12↑ part of an evolving narrative.
CV19. Treatments & Vaccination (Anti): CV12↑ are people afraid of forced quarantines =2= =3=, medical experiments, medical scams, dangerous cures and mandatory vaccination =2=.
CV20. Communication: Narrative is not necessarily communication, but the story behind the story, behind that story, moved up to CV18↑: However with the observation in CV12↑ that miscommunication is very likely may mean there is actually no difference between the two, that separation between them is misleading.
-A. PDWN before CV tended to be a firehose of information and misinformation. The intent was not to communicate but to inform and give practice at filtering, sorting, prioritizing and linking information in the tsunami, cacophony and firestorm of information flow in a biocrisis. Will be posting PDWN for the past week on Sunday night and though it has far less information that a non crisis week, it is still confusing and overwhelming, but that is what is needed to be analyzed and synthesized to communicate informing for policies, decisions and actions CV21↓. Today’s PDD is probably an inordinate massive mess, and it is focused on only one event and focused on only one aspect, yet it still grew exponentially. However, one day and single focus is insufficient for discerning the pattern and most likely hypothesis to interpret behavior of threatening signs (if they were threats). Fortunately, I have a few years of practice with bucking firehoses, and can discern some pattern in the chaos of a biocrisis, especially one that is still early on and mild compared to what it could be.
CV21. Syndemic and Concurrent Disasters: Environmental (Climate) Change. Coronavirus is concurrent with the changing global environment and exacerbated by air pollution and gubergenic. The combination of CV and another infectious disease the synergize the two, increasing risk CV12↑. DHS Includes Gun Industry in Critical Infrastructure Advisory List During Coronavirus Crisis, seems to me to be an unsupported and uninformed decision CV19A↑, possibly motivated to keep a political support base and arm them as ideologically loyalists, which will motivate the opposite extreme to also arm themselves. Adding guns to a country with a recent history of gun violence, at the same time people are scared and wanting to isolate, keep out outsiders CV12↑, fearful of what government will or will not do, while there is an underlying social collapse narrative =2=, this is probably not a good idea.
