-CV2. Humor: Coronavirus Cartoons: 10 Artists Show How America Is Adjusting
-CV3. Misinformation: WhatsApp in Talks with NHS to Set up Coronavirus Chatbot, seeks to shed image as hub for fake news, and probably won’t succeed and likely did not intend to.
-CV6. Language: Readers of PDWN have probably noticed that it has a Glossary. This is incomplete but I will be trying to finish the rest of the letters. Not of particular importance right now, but the intent was to have an available vocabulary for a biocrisis and much of the phenomena that occur in a biocrisis do not have terminology. Unlikely these will be accepted for use but the concepts are more important than the specific words. POST COLLECTION: At this rate will probably not finish the Glossary until 2022.
-CV8. Fiction: [Venn]
-CV9. Arts: Non verbal communications: Drama, Poetry, Prose, Movies, Music, Visual arts, Memorials, Photography. We again see expressions of anger, civil disobedience, projections of what will happen if current trends continue. A Playlist Tracking the Many New Tracks Being Written about the Coronavirus. The Uncanny Melancholy of Empty Photographs in the Time of Coronavirus. The Drive In, Relic of Yesterday, Finds Itself Suited to Now.
-CV10. Religion: I am reluctant to use this category as it blurs and overlaps with so many other topics: Civil disobedience, anger, xenophobia, facilitating spread, fear mongering, politics, economics, miscommunications, arts, magical thinking ... . What makes it an even more complicated and ambivalent category is that religion is simultaneously the opposite of all of the ibid negative connotations. Its not religion per se, but how individuals choose to use religion as a justification for behavior that harms, or reasons to behave in ways that help, and how would individuals be able to tell the difference. Most of the topics of parademic have this duality aspect. During Virus, Priests Master Livestream at Gothic Cathedral.
-CV11. Exploitation: Fear Mongering, Crime, Disinformation, Profiteering (political and economic). Helicopters Are Not Spraying Disinfectants to Try to Eradicate Coronavirus =2=, possibly repurposing of narratives intended to fan concerns about agricultural and pest control spraying =2= and generate fears about Black Helicopters.
-CV12. Personal: A topical area that I am even more reluctant to share is the personal level. Its easier to keep the objective observer distance with the International, National, Regions, Local and even Community levels are in some way remote. Not so easy when it is personal level with family, neighbors and oneself. However, it is also a change to verify parademic concepts, refine or reject. Knowing about social distancing is different than standing a few feet apart on an x before entering a store, then rubbing your hands with a sanitizer, then not going beyond a line on the aisle floor before it is vacated, and then purchasing with the cashier who is behind a clear plastic barrier.
-CV13. Outliers: Outliers tend to be what has not been observed or reported before, to not follow patterns from previous bioevents (biocalamity and parademic) or current trends. These can be a rare possibility that has been noted but infrequently or are so outside of social norms as to be abhorrent behavior that hopefully will not be normalized. Spanish Minister Says Older People Found Dead and Abandoned. Spain Coronavirus: Ice Rink Turned into a Morgue amid Outbreak will likely not be an outlier as morgues and temporary storage overflow.
-CV14: Miscellaneous: In biocalamities and parademics there are always examples of information that do not fit preexisting categories (but not an outlier), blurs separations, and combines what used to be separated. In some cases, a miscellaneous category may become a category or sub category, at least for a particular bioevent.
-CV15. Grief: Memorials, mass fatalities, disposition of remains and practices. That Discomfort You’re Feeling Is Grief. During the global pandemic, a palpable sense of collective grief has emerged. Grief is actually multiple feelings.
