CV03. Information: Get Ready for a Vaccine Information War CV05↓. Are the Unvaccinated Being Forcibly Rounded up in Oklahoma. An outdated conspiracy video about FEMA camps and vaccines gained new life amid 2020 pandemic worries CV18↓.
-A. POST COLLECTIO: I remember the Conspiracy Theory of FEMA Death Camps during the 2009H1N1 “Swine Flu” =2= =3=. As a Pandemic Planner one of my interests was anticipating moral and political panics that could potentially hinder military support to a pandemic. That is one of the reasons why in the mass fatality/ grave how to instructions I was developing I made the strong and repeated recommendation to avoid using military personnel and assets for such activities. You never know how pictures of US soldiers driving bulldozers to bury bodies will be used. Pandemic Humor: Appendix 12.2. Humor about FEMA
CV05. Economics: Wave of 'Vaccine Nationalism' Hinders Global Efforts to Stop Coronavirus CV03↑ CV04. If your country develops the vaccine before anyone else, immediately exporting it to another country is not a vote winner. CV crosses borders without regard for national boundaries or identities. But the response to it, and the hunt for a vaccine, has been caught up in a tide of nationalism that was already sweeping the world before the virus hit, and may end up delaying distribution of a vaccine to billions of people 201016-CV28. This competitive vision outlined in the United States and other vaccine producing powerhouses such as China and India threatens to undermine the efforts of dozens 210103-3C of countries, which are raising billions of dollars in an attempt to find an effective immunizing shot that they say should be available equally around the world.
CV09. Arts, Creativity: Everyone has a Story: How Will World Remember Pandemic. Artist Obi Uwakwe was driving through Chicago’s empty streets, camera on his lap to document life during Covid-19, when he saw something that made him stop: a casket being carried out of a church while a few mourners stood by, their faces covered. The 43 year old raised his camera and took a photograph. Later, it would become one of the images used to create paintings inspired by the pandemic. [Photo].
CV10. Spirituality, Philosophy: Time Is Slipping Away from Us All. Enduring a perpetual time loop, reliving the same day over and over. An infinite present, of no future plans, no anticipation of travel or shows or events or celebrations. It's an endless today, never tomorrow. This would be a description of how people experienced time during most of human history before modern factory clock times. That would be a form of social control as there would be no anticipation that things could be different, and there may be a tendency to prefer that nothing changes. 200507-CV10.
CV10.1. The Moral Logic of Coronavirus, why helping people victimized by forces outside their control is a good idea.
CV12. Personal, Relationships: With the current trends and no indication that these will change I found that I was not able to post yesterday’s PDN last night. Had to wait until today.
CV18. Narrative, Social Reality: ‘Plandemic’ and the Seven Traits of Conspiratorial Thinking, CV03 CV19↓ 200515-CV15A. 1) Contradictory beliefs. 2) Overriding suspicion. 3) Nefarious intent. 4) Conviction something’s wrong. 5) Persecuted victim. 6) Immunity to evidence. 7) Reinterpreting randomness. Did the Obama Administration Fail to Prepare a Pandemic Game Plan. Did Trump Tweet That Obama ‘Had 8 Years to Prepair the Next President for a Pandemic’, the misspelling gives a touch of authenticity, but this was not tweeted by Trump. CV19↓. CV19. Technosphere: ‘Plandemic’ Virus Conspiracy Theory Video Shows Challenges for Big Tech CV18↑. Efforts by social media platforms to delete and ban “Plandemic” have given rise to further dubious claims and theories about a supposed coverup by tech companies regarding how the Coronavirus started and is spread. It increases its fandom or allegiance among followers and adds credence to their rallying cry that there’s a conspiracy theory out there that people are trying to shut down. CV18↑ CV20.

CV23. Polemic, Nocuous: Medics Around the World Face Hostility over Virus Stigma 201003-CV18. Dr. Dina Abdel-Salam watched in terror last month as scores of strangers gathered under the balcony of her aunt’s empty apartment in the Egyptian city of Ismailia, where she’d temporarily sheltered after leaving her elderly parents at home to protect them from exposure to the Coronavirus. The crowd called out her name, hurling threats until she dialed the police for help. “You have moved here to make us sick,” someone shouted. Abdel-Salam’s ordeal is just one of many in a wave of assaults on doctors, illustrating how public fear and rage can turn against the very people risking their lives to save patients in the pandemic.

CV28. Logistics: The gathering of Crowds at Wuhan Clinics Fear Coronavirus Testing Could Rekindle Disease.
-A. POST COLLECTIO: As far as I can find this was not an issue in the US as measures were taken to prevent or mitigate infection at testing stations. One method was having people stay in the cars or maintain social distance, the same as for mass vaccinations. CV29B↓.
CV29. Responsibility, Decision Making: Did Trump Say More Covid-19 Testing Makes the US Look Bad.
-A. Decision Flow Chart CV02 (Click to enlarge)
-B. POST COLLECTIO: The intent may have been to claim that the US appeared to have more cases because it was so effective at testing. Fact is that testing was still ineffective at the time, what there was only looking for symptomatic cases, the US had more cases than reported because there was a lack of data collection, reporting and analysis, and this health surveillance system was fragmented. Likely other countries, with more effective censorship than the US, were intentionally undercounting, or not counting at all. CV28A↑. With the conflicting messages about testing effectiveness, the Trump administration continued attempts to derail testing 200622-CV04 all, a significant percentage of people avoided testing as the test themselves became more effective.
CV30. Methodology: Starving the Watchdogs: Who Foots the Bill When Newspapers Disappear. Methodologically this would make open source collection unreliable as there will not be a breadth of perspectives and interpretation. However, the cause may not be nefarious intent but economic consequence CV05, though come to think of it they are often the same thing. There are plenty of ways today to pay little – or nothing – to read the news. There are free blogs. There's Facebook and Twitter. Who needs a subscription to a local newspaper. Millions of Americans have decided they don't. But new research suggests this strategy may have costs in the long run. That's because newspapers are not like most things we buy. If you decide not to buy a watch or a cappuccino, you save money. But if you decide not to pay for a police department, you might save money in the short run, but end up paying more in the long run. When the events being prevented or mitigated manifest and accelerate they are more costly and dire.
