The Bureau of Indian Affairs is now threatening to withdraw law enforcement funding if they do not remove checkpoints. Instructional materials can be incorporated across subjects, analyzing the crisis through scientific, economic, cultural and historical lenses, according to one education professor. A topic that I have been keeping an eye out for is curriculum that include and classes specifically for pandemic. CV will likely change what is taught in biology, history, possibly social sciences and humanities. So far education has focused on the practicalities of teaching and learning during social distancing, how to safely reopen schools, and the impact of a lost year of education. Educators have undoubtedly noticed new words and concepts that people had to learn, and how not being familiar with those impacted on people actions, behaviors, ability to assess information. This will be interesting to watch, especially in a country that still has controversy about teaching human reproduction and biology, evolution, world geography, non diluvian geology, history, etcetera.
