Just to keep followers and other readers updated on my progress.
My original intent was to do more links within 2020 so that other relevant context of a topic would be easier to find. That turned out to be sisyphean. Besides I finally looked into making the blog searchable. A search module is at the bottom of each blog post but I will probably need to refine it so the search is of all stubs. Currently the search only includes keywords. If I can get that figured out the updating the index to include more topics becomes moot. Have not yet started working on finishing the glossary.
Work continues with editing 2020 but I have not posted yet. I keep getting side tracked by parademic topics that will hopefully start appearing in 20221. or providing information to other researchers.
A book that I am reading right now is Jared Diamond's "Collapse". It appears to be very similar to Parademic but uses a different methodology and perspective. What I like most about it is that it was published in 2005. Though there was some animosity and polarization at the time it was not as extreme as now, it was a more civil time and people with opposing views were willing to understand and tolerate other prespectives. Diamond's approach not only makes a compelling case for his 5 part framework (though I do have some updates to what data he had at the time of publication), but it discusses conflicting perspectives without giving false balance.
